Standard fore end width is 3″, however, can be made to your specified width and/or off set for a minimum charge.
The rugged construction consisting of a machined billet 6061-T6 main chassis, 6063-T5 fore end chassis and HDPE w/hair cell finish butt stock, side and fore-end plates, all CNC machined, results in an extremely strong and chemical resistant stock.
Chassis for round actions have a “V block” seating area. Actions are mounted directly on the 1.25 square aluminum chassis through which the supplied action screws extend. They are designed for single shot actions. Repeater actions MUST be fitted with optional single shot follower. If your action utilizes a recoil lug, the standard recoil lug well in the chassis, which will accept a variety of recoil lugs, must be bedded (we recommend either Devcon Steel or Marine Tex) prior to use for best results.
Both round and flat actions should be skim bedded as well. We will bed stocks, but need your action to do so. Please see price list for this and other options.
Stocks for Remington 700, 700 clones and Panda and Stiller flat bottom actions are in inventory and can be shipped promptly ( from 2 to 10 days depending on options ordered). They can also be “customized” to your specifications in a relatively short time. These stocks come complete and ready to use (with the exception of bedding). No need to inlet, install pillars or paint.
Finished stocks weigh approximately 7 lbs., 4 oz. +/-. and can be lightened to just under 7 lbs. OAL length is 36″ and “pull” is adjustable from 13 to 13.75 inches with standard two way adjustable butt pad.
Stocks are available ONLY with black ABS & HDPE parts.
